The Open Timeline Update
A new style of creation designed for rapid development and implementation.

Creator Tools Changes
-
A new Timeline creation method has been added.
-
You can access the new form of creation by clicking "Create Timeline" and selecting Open Timeline.
-
-
Open Timelines are designed to be much quicker to build and play.
-
You provide a world description, define any mechanics, tell the AI roughly what the Open Timeline is about, and then can play that world.
-
This can be used for rapid testing of ideas, seeing what you can do on Mythia, or just creating an epic adventure for yourself and others to explore.
-
Each playthrough will vary. Only what you have defined in creation stays the same. The rest of the world is built to your specifications based on what the player chooses to do.

The Historian’s Sanctum & Fast Travel Update
A new hub, swifter journeys, and more control over your path—this update changes how you explore Mythia.

Today’s update, The Historian’s Sanctum & Fast Travel, introduces a central hub where you can check your Historian Rank, start missions, and explore content from the Mythia team. It also brings the new Fast Travel system for quick movement between unlocked rooms, along with a refined Action Counter that gives you more flexibility in how and where you spend your time.

The Historian’s Sanctum
Your central hub for tracking progress, jumping into Timelines, starting Missions, checking Alerts, and more—with more features on the way in the coming weeks.
Historian Rank
-
Complete Missions to earn experience and climb the ranks of the Historian’s Guild.
-
Rank up to earn rewards such as Avatars, Titles, Resurrection Charges, Artifact Energy, and other goodies.
Missions
-
Missions can now be found in your feed, attached to Timelines (previously called Dungeons).
-
These may include Treasure Hunts, Rescue Missions, or other challenges with unique rules to keep things fresh.
Artifacts
-
Artifacts are persistent items that can be used across Timelines.
-
Bringing an Artifact into a Timeline costs Artifact Energy, earned by completing missions and ranking up in the Historian’s Guild.
-
Artifacts adapt to each Timeline, unlocking unique effects and abilities.

Alerts
-
The Historian’s Guild may occasionally issue Priority Alerts.
-
Priority Alerts are community challenges where all Historians work toward a shared goal—such as entering a certain number of rooms across all Timelines.
-
When the goal is reached, new Timelines and Missions will unlock for everyone.
Expeditions
-
Rare journeys that span multiple Timelines—each drastically reimagined from its original form, offering unique challenges and experiences.
-
Completing Expeditions will award you with a Historian Artifact.

Fast Travel

-
An official method of fast travel is now live. Use it to return to any room you’ve already been to in your current run (exceptions may apply based on the Creator’s design).
-
In most cases, skip the backtracking and jump straight to where you want to go.
-
To fast travel, open your Dungeon Journal, select Navigation to see your notes, and tap the on the room you want to go to.

-
The Action Counter now limits the total number of actions across a Timeline, rather than per room.
-
This gives you the freedom to choose where to spend your actions—without the constant pressure of a ticking clock between rooms.
-
Note: Creators may still design rooms with their own time-based mechanics, but it’s no longer a built-in feature for every room.
